So you think this is crispy fried chicken? Viral video will give you a big surprise

The internet got a big surprise after watching a video of a person digging into a piece of crispy fried chicken. Surprise, because it isn’t fried chicken after all, but cake. Read that again if you may, but it is true.
UK-based Dayeeta Pal, who is known for baking ‘illusion cakes’, shared a video of this fried chicken-shaped cake, and it has gone viral with over 11 million views on Instagram.
‘Chicken or cake’ reads the caption on the video that shows a person slicing what appears to be a piece of fried chicken. Moments later, though, it turns out to be a cake with chocolate and vanilla flavours inside.
“Fun fact: My son was fuming this crispy fried chicken was cake. I actually feel sorry (not) that he is stuck with a con-artist mum. He surely deserves better,” Dayeeta said in the caption of her post.

Well, there are several viewers who are also fuming, like Dayeeta’s son in the comments section of the post for the same reason.
“Most disappointing video on internet,” a comment reads. Most others, nevertheless, applauded Dayeeta for baking such a realistic cake.
